By downloading or using SightAI, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App

SightAI is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

2. Free Plan Limitations

Users on the free Explorer plan are subject to the following limits:

• 3 AI scans per day — resets at midnight
• 5 lifetime scans total — this cap never resets, even if you delete journal entries
• 5 journal entries maximum
• No access to AR Live Scan, Heatmap, PDF Export, or Share Card features

To remove these limitations, you may upgrade to a paid subscription plan.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

SightAI offers the following subscription plans, processed via Google Play:

• Traveler — $3.99/month: 50 scans/day, unlimited journal, audio narration, share card, heatmap, PDF export
• Globetrotter — $7.99/month: 200 scans/day, everything in Traveler, plus exclusive AR Live Scan

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings.
• All payments are processed by Google Play. SightAI does not handle or store payment card information.
• Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy.
• Subscription benefits are non-transferable and apply only to the account that purchased them.

4. AR Live Scan

The AR Live Scan feature is exclusively available to Globetrotter subscribers. It uses your device camera to continuously capture and analyze frames. Standard AI API usage limits apply. SightAI does not guarantee uninterrupted AR availability as it depends on third-party AI quota.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of photos you take with the app. By uploading photos, you grant SightAI a limited license to process them for landmark recognition purposes. You may delete your content at any time from within the app.

6. AI-Generated Content

Landmark information is generated by AI and may not always be accurate. SightAI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any AI-generated content. Always verify important information from authoritative sources.

7. Third-Party Image Content

SightAI displays landmark thumbnail images sourced from Wikipedia under their open content license. These images are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for informational display purposes within the app.

8. Account Responsibility

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

9. Prohibited Activities

• Using the app to upload illegal or harmful content
• Attempting to reverse-engineer or tamper with the app
• Using automated tools to access the app's services
• Circumventing plan limits or subscription verification
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SightAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SightAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
